'Sixth Night: Shakespeare For Those With Short Attention Spans', abridged from William Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' by Marisha West, was performed at The Space on the Mile, space 3, at 10.15am from Monday 7th - Saturday 12th August during the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The cast consisted of ten actors, with the narrator also playing multiple characters.
The show was directed by Marisha West and produced by Esther Malkinson, R.I.T.A.'s co-founders and Creative Directors. Leah Dalley stage managed, whilst Louise Goswell held the role of Production Manager alongside starring as Fabian in the show, and Sophie Tomlins and Sam Vesty provided lighting and sound assistance respectively.
The cast performed to a sell-out audience for 4 out of the 6 shows, and received 2 fantastic reviews, with one rating the show 4 stars and the other calling 'Sixth Night' a 'recommended show'. Have a read of the two reviews here:

Here's what the director, Marisha West, had to say about the success of the show:
"This was a particularly special project to me, as I have always wanted to bring Shakespeare to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and put a unique twist on it. I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of positive feedback we had and am extremely proud of all the hard work that the whole cast and crew put in to make the show the success it was. 7 months is a long process for creating a show, but it was completely worth it! We also performed 2 sell-out preview shows in Loughborough in June before heading to the Fringe, which I think really helped us understand the effect the show had on an audience. From these two shows, we had really positive feedback, which we took on board and which provided us with the confidence to perform at the Fringe.
I would like to thank my cast and crew and all of our wonderful audience members, as well as the generous donations we received to help us head to the Fringe. Special thanks must also go to R.I.T.A.'s number one fan and a very important person in my life: my mother! It's really Helena West that we have to thank for this show, as we came up with the concept together and she even came up with the name 'Sixth Night'!
'Sixth Night' was such a memorable experience and Esther and I definitely hope to bring it back in the future, either to return to the Edinburgh Fringe, or to introduce the concept to a whole new audience! Thanks for all of the support!"
