'Four Plays for Coarse Actors', by Michael Green, was performed at the Space on the Mile, space 3, at 11:15am from Monday 15th - Saturday 20th August during the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The cast consisted of nine talented actors, playing a wide range of roles in the four plays.

​

The show was directed by Esther Malkinson, stage managed by Rhianna Biggs, with Eloise Murphy as Production Manager and Corinne Bills providing the technical aspects of the show.

The first two plays, entitled 'Streuth' and 'Il Forcanzione', were performed on the Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The other two shows, 'A Collier's Tuesday Tea Party' and 'All's Well That Ends As You Like It', were performed on the Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

All four shows received a huge amount of praise from the audience. The cast even performed a sold-out show on the Tuesday!

"Directing 'Four Plays' was one of the most enjoyable experiences I could have asked to be part of. From our very first read-through, to the final show, we all collapsed with laughter throughout. My cast were amazing, tirelessly putting in hours upon hours to ensure a table broke apart correctly, or a wig fell off. My stage manager, Rhianna Biggs, and production manager, Eloise Murphy, single-handedly kept me sane, whilst rushing out to buy mushroom pies at the drop of a hat. And with Corinne Bills on tech, the production ran smoother every day. I think every single person who worked on this production is talented beyond belief and I'm proud to have worked with them."
